The LO-TCO Secretariat’s Image Bank
The LO-TCO Secretariat’s image bank is a web based database with images from trade union development cooperation projects throughout the world.
The images are high resolution pictures in JPEG format and most of them may be used without charge by our collaborating partners for the production of non-commercial printed matters and web pages. There are also images for which the photographer must be compensated. If so, you will be informed how to get in contact with the photographer when you are trying to download these pictures.
Anyone is free to browse the low resolution sketch images. If you wish to download and use high resolution images, you first need to fill in a form and accept the conditions for using the images. The form is automatically shown when you are trying to download an image.
Conditions for using the images in the image bank:
 The images may only be used in civil-society activities.
The images may not be used for commercial purpose.
The photographer and the source must always be stated, according to the following model: “Image: Name Name/ LO-TCO Secretariat Sweden”. If possible, the information should be indicated close to the image, otherwise it should be indicated on visible place, e.g. in the beginning or end of the article or brochure.
The images may be edited if necessary (e.g. by trimming or colour adjustment). Manipulation (e.i. change of the image’s content by e.g. erasing or adding parts to the image) is not allowed.
The images may not be spread to other parties. If anyone else (apart from the one who initially was given the right to download from the image bank) wishes to use the images, he/she must apply for the right to do so.
The images may only be used providing that all the conditions are met.
